Paul B. Johnson, Sr.
Two Paul B. Johnsons served as Mississippi Governor: Paul B. Johnson Jr. (right) & Sr. (left). The University of Mississippi dedicated the Paul B. Johnson Commons building on 27 October 1965 in honor of Paul B. Johnson, Governor of Mississippi from 1940 to 1943. His son, Paul B. Johnson Jr. also served as governor of the state from 1964 to 1968 and was Lieutenant Governor during the 1962 integration of the university. Resources on both men are listed below.
