• Research articles report the results of original research. Peer-reviewed articles are research articles that have been reviewed by researchers who conduct similar research as the author.

  Research articles are published in journals by a publisher. You typically access a research article either from the publisher's website or through a database. Databases are collections of content containers (e.g., books or journals), typically related to a specific discipline.
