International Communities - U.S. Agencies

International Communities includes the CIA and any investigative agency that has contact with foreign government.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Preempts threats and furthers US national security objectives by collecting intelligence and safeguarding the secrets that help keep our Nation safe.
Department of Homeland Security Provides the coordinated, comprehensive federal response in the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or other large-scale emergency.
Department of State Advises the President and represents the country in international affairs and foreign policy issues.
Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) Adjudicates immigration cases by administering the Nation's immigration laws. EOIR conducts immigration court proceedings, appellate reviews, and administrative hearings.
International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) ICITAP works with foreign governments to develop professional and transparent law enforcement institutions that protect human rights, combat corruption, and reduce the threat of transnational crime and terrorism.
Interpol Washington Shares criminal justice, humanitarian, and public safety information between our nation's law enforcement community and its foreign counterparts, and to facilitate transnational investigative efforts that enhance the safety and security of our nation.
National Security Division (NSD) Protects the United States from threats to our national security by pursuing justice through the law and ensures coordination between prosecutors and law enforcement agencies, on the one hand, and intelligence attorneys and the Intelligence Community, on the other.
Office of International Affairs (OIA) OIA coordinates the extradition or other legal rendition of international fugitives and all international evidence gathering, among other duties.
Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) Develops and administers technical assistance for foreign justice sector institutions and their law enforcement personnel to combat terrorism, trafficking in persons, organized crime, corruption, and financial crimes.
