What Is PubMed?
PubMed (https://pubmed-ncbi-nlm-nih-gov.umiss.idm.oclc.org) is a freely available database developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). Subject coverage includes:
- medicine
- biomedicine
- nursing
- dentistry
- veterinary medicine
- health care system
- preclinical sciences
PubMed includes access to MEDLINE® (https://research-ebsco-com.umiss.idm.oclc.org/c/ewor3e/search?defaultdb=cmedm) and to citations for selected articles in life science journals not included in MEDLINE. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant Web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources.
