Interlibrary Loan / Document Delivery

Interlibrary Loan is a service provided to all students and faculty/staff that allows you to request materials which the UM Libraries does now own. For books, we can generally have the item available in 10-14 days and, for articles, 1-2 days.

Document Delivery is a service provided to graduate students and faculty/staff that allows you to request a print article or print book chapter be scanned and made available to you electronically.

Both of these services can be requested through your Interlibrary Loan account.

Ever see a screen asking you to pay? You can use this bookmarklet to prompt you to authenticate as an UM affiliate; if the library has access, the paywall will disappear and you will be able to access your article.

Library Tutorials

The library has video and image-based tutorials to help you learn how to use specific library services and resources.
