The University of Mississippi Libraries Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL) provides Oxford campus faculty, staff, and students with research materials that are otherwise unavailable in the University Libraries print and digital collections. To use ILL, you need to set up an account.

 

Step 1: Begin at the UM Libraries homepage: libraries.olemiss.edu

Step 2: Select "Interlibrary Loan" from the Services tab

Step 3: Interlibrary Loan Account Log In

Type in your Ole Miss WebID and password into the Interlibrary Loan Account box to log in.

Do not use your entire Ole Miss email address for WebID.

Update Your Oxford ILL Profile

 

Step 1: Select Update Profile (required for first-time users)

Step 2: Enter User Information for Your Profile

For ID Number, enter your Ole Miss WebID or Barcode number located on your ID card. For Department, choose your major (home department). For Status, Oxford Campus users do not select "Distance Campus." For Delivery Location, Oxford Campus users select "ILL OFFICE."  The ILL Office is located at the J.D. Williams Library Access Services Desk on the 1st floor, West entrance.

Step 3: Enter User Address

Use your permanent address, not a campus temporary address. For Address State: choose your home address state.

Items are typically NOT delivered to your home address and will be ready for pick-up at the J.D. Williams Library Access Services Desk. Follow instructions regarding the location of your materials in your ILL communication emails.

Step 4: Account Notification Preferences

Edit your notification preferences, then select Submit Information.

Now you are ready to begin using your ILL account to request books and articles.
