If you are off-campus and go directly to Google Scholar, you will not be proxied (i.e., Google will not know you are affiliated with a University Library). This will make it more dificult for you to know which articles you have access to. You can fix this by doing either:
- Use library link: http://www.olemiss.edu/cgi-bin/library/googlesch.pl
- Configure your Scholar preferences, which allows you to navigate directly to Google Scholar in the future
Note: Google frequently updates the Google Scholar interface (or performs user testing). The video no longer reflects Google Scholar's current interface: menu locations are different but the process remains largely unchanged.
