It has over 6300 datasets with over 500,000 files that are available to University of Mississippi students, faculty and staff for use in their teaching and research.

To download the datasets, each user must create an individual account with ICPSR.  You can do so at http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/cgi-bin/newacct.

To locate a dataset, you can search or browse for it at http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/ICPSR/index.jsp.  Use the Data User Tutorial for an overview of how to find, download, and analyze ICPSR data.

ICPSR has applied SDA (Survey Documentation Analysis) to over 500 datasets which allows for users to analyze the data online without downloading the files.  Users can select individual variables and create customized tables.  For more information on SDA see its website at the University of California at Berkeley.
